||| Torta Pan Di Stelle |||

A crowd-pleaser and fool-proof recipe that you can prepare with your little ones. This is the kind of dessert that will make you close your eyes and savour every spoonful. Just don't ruin it all by counting the calories though! 


  • 500g 'Pan Di Stelle' biscuits
  • 400g jar Nutella
  • 500ml whipping cream
  • 50g icing sugar
  • 150ml milk
  • 1 small cup of coffee (optional)
  • Cocoa
  • Stars sprinkles

Beat the whipping cream with the icing sugar until nice and firm. 

Dip the biscuits in the milk and coffee and line the base of a spring-form pan. Try to make a uniform layer and use any broken biscuits to fill in the gaps.

Melt the Nutella bain-marie or for a few seconds in the microwave and pour over the biscuits. Spread the Nutella so as to obtain a thin layer coating all the biscuits.

Scoop 1/3 of the whipped cream on top of the Nutella and spread evenly to cover the whole surface.

Cover with a layer of biscuits dipped in milk and coffee and top with another layer of Nutella and whipped cream.

Cover with the last layer of biscuits dipped in milk and coffee, Nutella and end with a nice layer of whipped cream.

Dust with a layer of cocoa powder and stars sprinkles. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. 

Remove from the spring-form pan before serving. Grab a spoon and enjoy ;)

Note: I did not use a spring-form pan as I needed to transport the dish to the beach for a BBQ ;)
